Provided social impact advice, workshop facilitation, co-ordination and social impact plan development for the Decommissioning Delivery Partnership (DDP). A 5-10 year, multi-million-pound framework contract comprising 6 Joint Ventures (comprising 18+ supply chain companies) and Sellafield Ltd.
Provided social impact advice and support to Sellafield Ltd in the development of their improved social impact policy, strategy and implementation plan. Helped Sellafield Ltd focus on investing in sustainable and cohesive community activities which provided added social value and secure a sustainable legacy.
Sustainability and social impact support to a global engineering Tier 2 company. Included the development of a new sustainability model (adaptable to global markets and locations), strategy planning, advice and technical support into a multi-million-pound competitive bid.
Delivered a Social Impact workshop to NDA Socio-Economic area managers. Covered introduction to social value, drivers of change, current context, Public Services Act, commissioning for outcomes, additional social impact mechanisms and evaluation methods.
Sub-consultant support for a UK scale sustainability evaluation of multi-agency Joint Strategic Needs Assessments (JSNA).
Created and managed the UK’s first use of gamification via social media as a lever to reduce domestic energy consumption within fuel poor households. Reduced energy consumption and household bills by an average of 20%. Secured multiple social outcomes including healthy eating, household budgeting, social interaction, behavioural change, life skills and personal esteem.
Supported Sellafield Ltd and the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA) in in their journey from socio-economics to maximising the economic impact and social value from all the resources, activities and investment within the Sellafield system. Included the development of an improved social impact model with implementation plan for the Sellafield Model Change Programme.
Developed a framework to integrate social value within Contract North’s (a consortium of 17 specialist employability service organisations bidding for National Offender Management Service contracts) business model. Provided a social value statement and facilitated a social value training and development workshop.
Conceptualised and developed a CSR strategy (Enrich) and implementation plan with an annual budget of £4.5M. Included high impact communications messages, secured Executive Board approval and comprehensive stakeholder support.
Created a Sustainable Movement and Access Framework through an effective stakeholder engagement process and produced a sustainability strategy for Sellafield’s current and future movement and access needs. Identified significant sustainability opportunities for Sellafield Ltd and stakeholders.
Devised an Environmental Evaluation Framework and evaluated the environmental impacts of three years funded community projects. Provided LEAF with an outcomes based tool for future project evaluation and monitoring.
Provided a feasibility study for a new community food co-operative serving residents on the Meadow Well estate, North Tyneside. Launched 2014.
Developed a Sustainability and Climate Change Action Plan and provided sustainability advice for the pre-authorisation phase of the Clinical Commissioning Groups.
